Camper Remodel

10 things I love about our first re-do!

  1. Just the thought of everything being new and clean. The camper was clean for the age. Taking all the furniture out and ripping up the carpet was very satisfying.
  2. Changing the hardware on the cabinets and the lights made a HUGE difference. Changing the hardware updated the cabinets without painting.
  3. Replaced the toliet. Enough said!
  4. Removed all of the cornice boards and curtains. It brightened up the place right off.
  5. We replaced the tv as well as added shiplap paneling behind it. Since we had the extra space we added an electric fireplace for a cozy atmosphere.
  6. Shiplap paneling – added behind the toliet in the bathroom, used as the headboard.
  7. Layed luxury vinyl in the living room and the bathroom. Bought carpet for the bedroom to match the floor. Overall appearance was clean and crisp.
  8. Changed out the lightbulbs to the bright LED bulbs.
  9. Eventually we found a new couch and easy chair that would fit thru the door. Added area, rug, pillow and throw.
  10. Lastly and my favorite, we added the live edge bar in the back. It also added a personal touch and two extra seats.
